Hi, I'm Bruno Condé, welcome to my website. People experience difficulties in all sorts of areas in their lives. These might be personal relationships, situations at work, problems at home, anxiety, low mood, ADHD, ASD, feeling stuck… You name it – I am sure you have yours! If these difficulties are getting on top of you or making you unhappy, it may be helpful to see a therapist.
We see a therapist not because we are ‘crazy’, or because there is something wrong with us. We simply seek the support of a professional, who is trained in how our brain works, and understands the complexity of our personalities in a very human way. Your therapist should be someone who listens very carefully to what you are saying, and helps you to explore any possible changes that you may want to make in your life.
During our sessions, you will be supported to reflect and develop strategies to navigate and manage issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, loss and bereavement, post-traumatic stress, paranoia, long-term illness, discrimination, abuse, loneliness amongst others.
My aim is to see your issues the same way as you see them, and will assist you to explore your different options and possibilities. We will look together at any decisions you may want to take, but you will always retain your rights and the autonomy to make the choices YOU believe are the right ones for you. A good therapist should aim to give you tools to be your own ‘compass’ through stormy weathers … Based on the knowledge and experience acquired of yourself; you should feel stronger to navigate through your own life's difficulties.
By nurturing and accepting the ‘Humanity’ in ourselves, we learn to accept the ‘Humanity’ of others. Once we start to become gentler towards ourselves, accepting how we truly are, we are able to listen to our inner voice and make the adjustments we eventually need.
